Waycross is located in the heart of Southeast Georgia, at the northern tip of the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. It is a city filled with Southern hospitality and charm. From the Historic Downtown district to the swamplands of the Okefenokee, there is something for everyone.
It was a long day today. Larry biked 95 miles and it is getting warm here, about 89 degrees. The group got up early and started the ride as soon as there was enough daylight to safely bike down the road. They had a head wind which made it a more difficult ride than it should be. We are staying in an hotel tonight. We met up with Ed, Judy and her mom.
Only one day left. YES!!!!!!
