Larry and Ed passed the 1000 mile mark.

Today, Larry called around 5 PM EST. They had already biked 100 mile. They did the century in 4 hours!!! They were only to do 70 today but there was such a tail wind that no one wanted to stop. So they took advantage of the conditions and rode some more. They locked their bikes at the next town and the van returned them back to where they are staying tonight . There was a heavy crosswind and plenty of dust in the air. Weather was good 75 degrees and very dry.

The group passed farms, ranches, cattle and oil wells. Larry was very pleased with his ride today and felt good about the day.
